What is the importance of Job Satisfaction?


Even in a very apparent company and in the very best circumstances, fully satisfied employees are rare to find who enjoys their job every single second….., every single minute….., every single hour….., all day….. or every day.

But we are able to identify some employees who work with good satisfaction by elevating their prospects in certain factors, such as work environment, personal benefits, professionalism, the way of interactions and communication, etc.

Such employees do not hesitate to lay out a strong foundation in an organization in the sector of Human Resources. With the support of such a workforce, employers are able to build-up sturdy pillars on the laid foundation, till their vision and mission being accomplished.

When the employees are being happy with their employment, they involve in work with good dedication, honestly, and delightfully. Employee happiness supports to solidifies the company in various ways.

 


·        Employee turnover and absenteeism become lower

As there is an immense relationship between job satisfaction and employee turnover in an organization, the employer should pay excessive attention to understand the satisfaction level of employees. Otherwise, the workers who are not satisfied with their job, inspire to search for fresh jobs. …Wise versa, if the employees are considerably happy with their workplace and management conditions, their curiosity is very low to seek another opportunity.

Similarly, happy employees are always in a stimulus position to attend the workplace, even they cladding with personal matters. On the other hand, unsatisfied employees try to absent even they don’t have any issue.

·         Increase in productivity

Pride employees who experiencing excessive career pleasure, contribute to successful organizational fertility. When the employees are satisfied, they are well defined and concentrate on their mission. They work hard as an individual and finally as a delightful member of a strong team to uplift the organization up to the desired level.

When they are answerable and liable for the given targets, they exploit their fullest corporation to fertile the higher productivity of the organization as cheerful employees.

·        Assist to earn higher returns.

Though the management tries to build-up the loyalty, faith, and support of employees towards a company by organizing several training and motivation programs, without the positive attitudes of an individual employee, it will not be successful. Because the firm and prosperity way to expand the honesty, loyalty, and devotion on the organization should build-up personally by themselves towards their workplace.

If the employees are satisfied and cheerful in their careers, they are willing to guide their co-workers to achieve the company goals. And also, they attentively incorporate with the organization, during good and bad eras by prioritizing the organizational goals as the foremost component rather than personal matters. Such employees do not like to waste time on useless and worthless things, without engaging in constructive work favorable for the organization.

If the employees are grateful for a specific organization and if they absolutely have a good affection they do not concern about their wages in every single minute, but trust in its success, intention and target.

Employees with gratification who are excited to speak for their appropriate organization and they tend to be work hard to ensure revenues for the organization

·        Increase in customer satisfaction

The organization can be fallen into the production sector or service sector and their income can be generated either by vending products or by providing services. If the employees are persuaded, with their placement, they can provide virtuous customer service by understanding the actual needs, demands, and requirements of specific customers.

By the accumulation of pleasant customer service, satisfied employees are able to preserve and maintain the loyalty of customers. Because those factors are mainly depending on the services given by the employees. and Once the faith of the customers escalated towards the organization, productivity and revenues increase automatically.

When employees came to know that the organization is having a positive attitude about them, they frequently underpin its tasks and industrious to pull-off to the target by empowering a reliable customer service. When the number of satisfied customers is gathered around the organization, they will conduct valuable business promotion campaigns and stretch-out constructive notices around the community, without a cost. It will supportive to expand the goodwill.

·        Employees are reluctant to tolerate the pressure

Satisfied employees in an organization are always a role model to co-workers or followers, who are willing to overcome any tense situation. Employees demand to be excited about their responsibilities and preferences are followed by the satisfaction level on their career and the organization as a whole.

Those who satisfied, they acquire so many challenges without difficulty and dispatch favourable themes even in defeat situations. Hence, the satisfaction of employee is having a greatest salient for workers to be cheerful and to convey their level of magnitude.

By attending training programs, seminars, workshops, and meetings, satisfied employees are willing to update their subject knowledge as well as environmental factors. And they always anxious to gather knowledge on new technology and software implementation, current market trends, methods of addressing the sudden situations such as Covid-19 pandemic and short- and long-term impacts of that, etc. By engaging all these career development programs, the satisfied employees smart enough to achieve the allocated targets with the optimistic intension and heart-full of dreams to escalate the organization's goals. Not even the management, but the satisfied employees always maintain immense honesty towards their organization and authoritarian to it even in a very pressurized, burdensome, heavy, and defeat situation.


Finally, it is realized that there is a close relationship between employee satisfaction and organizational success and stability. Hence, the management has to be more concerned about the satisfaction level of human resources in the organization.

    1. Yes. The main objective of most of the organizations are to increase the productivity or services, and their attention on employee welfare is very low. They do not need any specialization with regard to dedicated employees.

    For Employees: Job satisfaction from an employee perspective is to earn a good gross salary, have job stability, have a steady career growth, get rewards & recognition and constantly have new opportunities.

    For Employers: For an employer, job satisfaction for an employee is an important aspect to get the best out of them. A satisfied employee always contributes more to the company, helps control attrition & helps the company grow. Employers needs to ensure a good job description to attract employees and constantly give opportunities to individuals to learn and grow.
